The River Valley Credit Union is a community based credit union. Membership is open to any person who lives in or works for a company that is in Windham and Windsor Counties in Vermont or in Western Cheshire and Western Sullivan Counties in New Hampshire and to members of their families, either by blood, marriage or adoption. Membership is also open to organizations within the above defined area. To become a member, you must open a savings account (called a Base Share Account) with at least $25. You must maintain this $25 minimum balance at all times to receive member services. You will, of course, receive interest on the $25 since it is part of your savings account. You may open your account in person at any of our offices in Brattleboro, Springfield, Putney, Bellows Falls or Townshend, Vermont. Send us a note to River Valley Credit Union, Box 8366, Brattleboro, VT 05304 and we can send you the membership forms to get you started. Once you have joined as a member, all other products and services are yours for the asking.
